Black Criminal Defense Lawyer
It is no secret that the US criminal justice system can be unfairly harsh and biased towards Black, African-Americans and other people of color. It is becoming more common for Defendants of African-Americans, Afro-Caribbean, Afro-Latinos and other black heritage to specifically seek out a Black-Owned criminal defense law firm, black criminal lawyer, or specifically, a black woman attorney to handle their case. Minorities not only face racist and racially biased policies, enforcement, and microaggressions throughout arrest and prosecution, but also from their own attorneys. This is often due to a lack of understanding of cultural differences, norms, and implicit bias. It’s important to chose an attorney who will understand and stand up for you and your family regardless of race, ethnicity, or identity.
